7 Days Luxury Primate & Nile Safari in Uganda

Your guide will pick you up early from Entebbe or Kampala and begin the journey to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and most famous wildlife reserve.

On the way, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking on foot. Continue to the park and cross the Nile to your luxury lodge overlooking the river.

Early morning game drive on the northern plains of the park where you may see lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, antelopes, and many bird species.

In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Nile to the base of Murchison Falls, one of the most powerful waterfalls in the world. Expect hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and spectacular scenery.

After breakfast, depart for Kibale Forest National Park, known as the primate capital of East Africa.

The drive takes you through the Albertine Rift Valley, tea plantations, and crater lake regions before arriving at your luxury lodge near Kibale.

After breakfast, go to the park headquarters for briefing before starting chimpanzee trekking.

Kibale Forest has the highest concentration of primates in Africa, and the trek offers excellent chances to see chimpanzees, red colobus monkeys, and other species.

In the afternoon, you may visit Bigodi Wetland or relax at the lodge.

After breakfast, drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through the scenic highlands of southwestern Uganda, often called the Switzerland of Africa.

Arrive at your luxury lodge near the gorilla trekking sector and relax for the rest of the day.

After early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for briefing before starting gorilla trekking.

The trek may take 1–6 hours depending on the gorilla family location. Once found, you will spend one unforgettable hour observing these gentle giants.

Return to the lodge for relaxation, spa, or optional cultural visit.

After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for a domestic flight back to Entebbe, or drive back depending on schedule.

Transfer to Entebbe International Airport for departure.
