Your luxury safari begins with a morning pick-up from Entebbe or Kampala by your professional safari guide. You will travel in a comfortable 4x4 safari vehicle heading west through Uganda’s beautiful countryside, passing tea plantations, crater lakes, and traditional villages.

You will stop for lunch en route before continuing to

, arriving in the evening. After check-in at your luxury lodge, relax and enjoy views of the savannah as you prepare for the next day’s wildlife activities.

Start the day with an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains, one of the best areas in the park for lions, elephants, buffalo, antelopes, and hyenas. The open savannah offers excellent photography opportunities.

In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari on the famous Kazinga Channel, known for having one of the highest concentrations of hippos in Africa. You will also see crocodiles, elephants, buffalo, and many bird species along the shores.

After breakfast, drive to the Ishasha sector in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its rare tree-climbing lions. You will enjoy a game drive in search of these unique lions often seen resting in fig trees.

After lunch, continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, arriving in the evening. Bwindi is home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas and is one of Africa’s most remarkable forests.

This is the highlight of your safari. After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for briefing before starting your gorilla trek in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

The trek can take from 1 to several hours depending on the location of the gorilla family. Once found, you will spend one unforgettable hour observing the gorillas as they feed, play, and interact in their natural habitat.

This is one of the most emotional wildlife encounters in the world.

Today is reserved for relaxation or optional activities around Bwindi. You may choose to enjoy a guided forest walk, visit a local community, or simply relax at the lodge while enjoying the views of the forest.

Optional activities may include: Batwa cultural visit, Nature walk, Bird watching, and a Second gorilla trek (optional permit required).

After breakfast, begin the return journey to Entebbe. You will drive through beautiful countryside with a stop at the Equator for photos and lunch.
